Biography

Hazel has successfully exhibited paintings with the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries. The Royal Society of Marine Artists at the Mall Galleries. Explorers Against Extinction at both the OXO Tower Wharf Gallery, and the Royal Geographical Society.  She has had commissioned wildlife artworks displayed in the Museum of Vancouver, and got through to the final rounds of BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year. University illustrations displayed in the Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre.

Having worked in arts education and wildlife illustration for many years, Hazel has had the privilege of working with numerous London galleries and worldwide publishers, including the Barbican Centre, BBC Wildlife Magazine, Big Hat Press, Brown Dog Books, The Butterfly Conservation Society, Dulwich Picture Gallery, Fulham Palace, Museum of Vancouver, Orleans House Gallery, Oxford University Press, Lorenz Books, Pacific Community -Secretariat of the South Pacific Fisheries, Red Line Editorial, South Bank Centre, South London Gallery. 

Hazel graduated from the University of Arts, Chelsea in 2002, and the University of Westminster in 2005 with a BA in Visual Communications: Illustration.  Hazel has sold her paintings to collectors around the world including the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, France, Germany, New Zealand and Indonesia.
