I was contacted by a wonderful gentleman from Jakarta, who on a work trip to London requested a visit my studio and see my original insect watercolour paintings.  He had a difficult time choosing a favourite, but settled on purchasing my recently finished Dragonfly illustration.

Butterfly Painting Donation for Butterfly Conservation

I painted a Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly watercolour to donate to Butterfly Conservation for their fundraising auction @savebutterflies. I chose this butterfly as I wanted people to be able to recognise a reasonably common native species, which although not threatened there is still cause for concern over general dwindling numbers. For all enquiries, commissions, sales or collaborations please contact me here.

Sketch for Survival

I created this wildlife watercolour for Explorers Against Extinction 'Sketch for Survival'. This image depicts two Addax (white or screwhorn antelope) a critically endangered species of the African Sahara desert. This piece will be heading to London for display in a travelling gallery exhibition then on to an auction. I can happily say it sold and raised some much needed money for the cause.

Horniman Museum -Summer World Fair

It was one of the hottest days and I set up my market stall in the beautiful Victorian Conservatory of the Horniman Museum for their celebration of the World.  It was one of the hottest days of the year and we all started to melt in what is effectively a giant greenhouse, so all of the traders moved outside and we sold our pieces in the gorgeous gardens instead.  It was a very successful day, I always enjoy taking part in their festivals.

Trio pet portrait commission

I was honoured with the task of painting three beautiful rough collies, in a very loose, soft watercolour.  I'm so happy with the results, I think the medium lended itself perfectly in portraying the characterful and incredibly fluffy dogs.

Scandinavian travelling with my old art studio buddies

I travelled by plane, train and boat on a Scandinavian adventure around Denmark, Sweden and Finland with my old art studio and University buddies.  We saw the sights, tried the food and sampled authentic saunas!

Mencap Day Session
