Love West Dulwich Market

We Drawn Together Collective girls had a stall at the ever popular Love West Dulwich Street Festival.  Despite the damp weather many people made it out to enjoy live music, delicious street food and homebaked cakes and of course wonderful locally crafted goodies.

Commissioned Pet Portrait

Here is the final watercolour painting of Pepsi, the resident studio pooch.  She has such a funny character I wanted to capture her cheeky expression.  In the new year I purchased a beautiful set of Sennelier watercolour pans and this was the first trial of them, I absolutely love the colours and can't wait to paint more!

App illustrations - Marée NC

Last night I had a fun conversation with the lovely guys in New Caledonia who I regularly draw for and found out that my illustration work will be part of an app, for anyone wishing to identify South Pacific lagoon fish, it is called Marée NC and will be available in the AppStore and Googlestore.  It will be so exciting to see my work in such a digitally advanced format!

Dog Commission for Christmas

I was requested to paint this stunning pair of Hungarian Vizslas for a Christmas present.  It was a really enjoyable project trying to portray their unique characters, I especially love their noble expressions and glowing golden fur.

Mencap Holiday Club Workshop

I always feel privileged to work with Bromley Mencap and today I held a quick session with a small group of young people with learning disabilities, creating Olympic inspired paintings. I love the individuality in approach to their artworks, with some being spontaneous and others concentrating on clean lines and carefully selected colour combinations.Today's themes included painting, printing, stencils and layering. Cat Commission

I have been working quickly on a cat commission for a birthday present, with one black and white moggy and one ginger.  It was quite a tricky task as I only had very small phone images to work from, but I'm happy with the outcome. Here is a snippet from the early workings.
